Greater Chicago Food Depository

The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, is a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 600 food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 500,000 adults and children every year. Last year, the Food Depository distributed more than 46 million pounds of nonperishable food and fresh produce, dairy products and meat, the equivalent of more than 95,000 meals every day.

World Vision International

World Vision International

World Vision strives to help communities improve the health and nutrition of women and children. Transformational development is the process through which children, families and communities identify and overcome the obstacles that prevent them from living life in all its fullness.

World Vision responded to major disasters in 64 countries in 2007, quickly providing food, water, shelter and other essentials to the people affected.

Green Peace

Ronald McDonald House

World Vision International

Greenpeace is present in 40 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific.

To maintain its independence, Greenpeace does not accept donations from governments or corporations but relies on contributions from individual supporters and foundation grants.

Greenpeace has been campaigning against environmental degradation since 1971 when a small boat of volunteers and journalists sailed into Amchitka, an area north of Alaska where the US Government was conducting underground nuclear tests. This tradition of 'bearing witness' in a non-violent manner continues today, and our shipsare an important part of all our campaign work.

Toys For Tots

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

In recognition of the continuing efforts of the Residents of Central Park East Apartments in Arlington Heights, IL Central Park East has some amazing programs thanks to our Lifestyles Director, Warner Shaw!!

RMHC provides vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by leading hospitals worldwide. Core RMHC programs — Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles — provide access to health care and enable family-centered care.
